SVG To PNG Converter

Some slides, emails, and older tools cannot use SVG. Convert an SVG to a PNG at the size you need. The PNG is a flat bitmap: you cannot scale it forever without blur, so pick a width that matches where it will be displayed.
How to use the SVG To PNG Converter
- Provide the SVG. Paste markup or choose a file. The graphic needs a viewBox or width and height so the canvas size is known.
- Render. The browser draws the SVG and exports PNG pixels. Fonts that are not available on your machine will fall back.
- Download and, if needed, compress. A large PNG can be heavy. Run it through the image compressor when the destination is a web page.
When it helps
- Email and Office documents. Clients that strip SVG still accept a PNG export of the same logo.
- Social images. Export a sharp PNG at the pixel size the network asks for instead of uploading the vector.
Common questions
Why is the PNG blurry?
The export width is too small for how it is displayed. Render a larger PNG and let the page scale it down.
Will text use my brand font?
Only if that font is installed or embedded in the SVG. Otherwise the browser substitutes a fallback.
Does the file leave the browser?
No. Rasterizing happens locally.
Can I get a transparent background?
PNG supports transparency when the SVG background is transparent. A white rectangle in the SVG will stay white.
